What is an electric vehicle?
Electric vehicle is a transportation device powered by electric drive train instead of conventional drive train used in IC engines (ICE). The electric drive train replaces fuel, carburettor, engine with battery, power convertor, motor and auxiliary systems.
- It uses electric power stored in the battery to power the electric motor which in turn is connected to the wheels for traction.
